Virtual Mocktail Workshop

Date: June 2021

- The event is called Virtual Mocktail Workshop where the participants had the virtual experience of making mocktails at home during Father’s Day in June 2021.

- The workshop was demonstrated live via Google Meet by Ms Aliya and Ms Virgillia and they taught the participants on how to make unique mocktails using equipment and ingredients that can be found at home.

- The participants had a great time and we ended the session with a group photo together with the mocktails that were done by them from home.

Virtual MONIN Workshop

Date: 15 July 2021

- MONIN is a French company that produces gourmet syrups, liqueurs, and fruit purees primarily used in 5-star bars and especially, used in Alkira’s bar at INTI Subang as well!

- During the workshop, the participants got the chance to:

· Meet exceptional professional beverage innovators.

· Learn about the fundamentals of bartending.

· Experience a virtual demonstration on how to create unique MONIN beverages.

Other Virtual Events

During the “stay at home”, also known as the online period, SOHOS Society continued to host activities online such as: Game Night 3.0, Hospitality Forum, Chit Chat with Alumni Session, Monthly Challenges, Team Bonding, and more!

SOHOS Prom Night 2019

- This event was a collaboration event with Event Management students back in 2019.

- The Prom Night theme was based on Halloween and it was called “Night of The Living Fears” held at e.City Hotel – One City.

- The attendees indulged themselves in an International Buffet and they got the chance to win Lucky Draw Prizes and King & Queen Award with plenty of fun, games and activities.

SOHOS Telematch 2019

- This event is where the students and lecturers of the School of Hospitality team up into a few groups to challenge each other in various station games.

- By the end of the event, everyone gathers in Alkira to indulge themselves with light refreshments prepared by the kitchen and the best team is announced and awarded with special prizes.
